DAY JOURNEY

Volcano, Vine & Sea

One day that holds the whole south: a volcano on foot, wine grown in ash, a long Canarian lunch, and the island's clearest sea pools. From Playa Blanca and back, entirely at your pace.

THE THREAD

This single day holds Lanzarote in miniature, its fire, its wine, its sea. You set out from Playa Blanca, walk an extinct volcano before the heat builds, taste wine grown from black ash, take a slow lunch in a nineteenth-century house, and end the afternoon in natural pools cut into the lava. Every minute of it is yours to reshape.

Your private pickup

Your driver and guide meet you in Playa Blanca in a private Mercedes V-Class, at the port or at the door of your hotel, wherever suits you best. From here the day is yours alone, no group and no fixed crowd, only the route you have chosen. Start whenever you like, every step that follows simply shifts to match.

Into the volcano

A short drive north, then a gentle walk of close to five kilometres into the crater of an extinct volcano, black rock on every side and almost no one else around.

03

Wine from the ash

Into La Geria, the strangest vineyard you will ever see, where each vine grows in a hollow of black ash behind its own low wall of stone. At a working bodega you taste the Malvasía where it is made, with something small to eat.

A long Canarian table

On to Yaiza, one of the island's prettiest villages, and a slow lunch in a restored nineteenth-century manor house, traditional and modern Canarian cooking. No clock, and no next thing to rush to.

The sea pools

Down to the coast, clear pools cut into the volcanic rock above the Atlantic, warm and far from the resorts. When the tide does not allow it, we turn instead to another quiet stretch of coastline. Then the gentle drive back to Playa Blanca.

MAKE IT YOURS

A starting shape, not a fixed plan

This is a real day we run, and people love it as it is. But nothing here is fixed. Trade the volcano for a longer coastal walk, swap the wine for a village market, add a boat in the afternoon, start later, or finish with dinner as the light goes. Tell us the kind of day you have in mind, and we build the rest around you.

We asked for one unhurried day, not a checklist, and that is exactly what we got. The volcano in the morning, wine at lunch, the sea pools to finish, and they happily reshaped the timing around us on the day.
