Cliff, Picnic & Sea
One day in the green north of the island: hands on volcanic rock, a long picnic among wild flora, the clear sea pools of Punta Mujeres, and supper by the water in Arrieta. Entirely at your pace.
This is the other Lanzarote, the green and quiet north, far from the southern resorts. You set out for the Monumento Natural de La Corona, climb on dramatic volcanic rock with a guide, take a slow picnic among the wild flora of the Haría valley, swim in the clear sea pools of Punta Mujeres, and end the day with supper by the water in Arrieta. Every minute of it is yours to reshape.
Your day, from pickup to the sea

Your private pickup
Your driver and guide meet you at the door of your hotel in a private Mercedes V-Class, wherever on the island you are staying. From here the day is yours alone, no group and no fixed crowd, only the route you have chosen. Start whenever you like, every step that follows simply shifts to match.

Hands on the rock
Into the Monumento Natural de La Corona and the Jameo de la Puerta Falsa, close to the Cueva de los Verdes, a climbing zone set inside a collapsed volcanic tunnel, black rock and dramatic overhangs above you. A certified local instructor sets the ropes and stays beside you, so a first-time climber and a seasoned one both find their line. All equipment is provided.

A wild picnic
Down into the Haría valley, the greenest corner of the island, to a quiet merendero above the Barranco del Chafariz. A long, unhurried picnic laid out among the natural flora, with the valley falling away below and almost no one else around.

The sea pools of Punta Mujeres
On to Punta Mujeres, a small fishing village where clear natural pools are cut into the black volcanic rock at the water's edge. Calm, warm and far from the resorts, a slow swim in the Atlantic with nothing to rush to.

Supper by the water
A short drive to Arrieta and La Casa de la Playa, a local restaurant right on the beach. Fresh fish and Canarian cooking as the light goes, the day's salt still on your skin.

A starting shape, not a fixed plan
This is a real day we run, but you can adjust it. The climbing is only available from July to December, since it takes place in a protected natural area; the rest of the year we replace it with a guided coastal walk or the nearby Cueva de los Verdes. You can also swap the climb for a gentler hike, add the Jameos del Agua, or start whenever suits you. Tell us the kind of day you have in mind and we plan it with you.
“Our favourite part was swimming in the natural pools of Punta Mujeres, a quiet little village with so much charm. We had started the day climbing with a wonderful guide and eating outdoors, but that time in the water, with no one around, is what we remember most.”
