Cliff, Picnic & Sea: A Private Day in North Lanzarote
One carefully paced private day in the green north: volcanic rock, a long picnic among wild flora, the sea pools of Punta Mujeres, and supper by the water in Arrieta.
This is the other Lanzarote, the green and quiet north, far from the southern resorts. You set out for the Monumento Natural de La Corona, climb on volcanic rock with a guide, take a slow picnic in the Haría valley, swim in Punta Mujeres, and end with supper by the water in Arrieta. Each chapter has been chosen to make the day flow as one complete experience.
Your day, from pickup to the sea

Your private pickup
Your driver and guide meet you at your hotel in a private Mercedes V-Class. Your confirmed pickup time keeps the climbing, picnic, sea pools, and supper in their best rhythm. The vehicle and guide remain private to your group throughout.

Hands on the rock
Into the Monumento Natural de La Corona and the Jameo de la Puerta Falsa, close to the Cueva de los Verdes, a climbing zone set inside a collapsed volcanic tunnel, black rock and dramatic overhangs above you. A certified local instructor sets the ropes and stays beside you, so a first-time climber and a seasoned one both find their line. All equipment is provided.

A wild picnic
Down into the Haría valley, the greenest corner of the island, to a quiet merendero above the Barranco del Chafariz. A long, unhurried picnic laid out among the natural flora, with the valley falling away below and almost no one else around.

The sea pools of Punta Mujeres
On to Punta Mujeres, a small fishing village where clear natural pools are cut into the black volcanic rock at the water's edge. Calm, warm and far from the resorts, a slow swim in the Atlantic with nothing to rush to.

Supper by the water
A short drive to Arrieta and La Casa de la Playa, a local restaurant right on the beach. Fresh fish and Canarian cooking as the light goes, the day's salt still on your skin.

A complete experience, with a seasonal alternative built in
Climbing, the Haría picnic, Punta Mujeres, and supper in Arrieta form this experience. Because climbing is available only from July to December in the protected area, the confirmed seasonal version uses a guided coastal walk or the nearby Cueva de los Verdes. We can also consider practical needs such as pace, diet, pickup, or accessibility before booking.
“Our favourite part was swimming in the natural pools of Punta Mujeres, a quiet little village with so much charm. We had started the day climbing with a wonderful guide and eating outdoors, but that time in the water, with no one around, is what we remember most.”
